Before we begin any legal work, we follow a structured onboarding process to comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and ensure transparency.
Step 1: Initial Consultation
We offer an initial consultation to discuss your legal needs and assess how we can assist you. This consultation may take place via phone, video call, or in person.
Step 2: Client Identification & Verification 
To comply with AML regulations, we must verify your identity and address. .You will be asked to provide :A valid photo ID (passport or driving licence). A proof of address (utility bill or bank statement, dated within the last 3 months).
.Step 3: Source of Funds & Risk Assessment 
If your matter involves financial transactions (e.g., probate or immigration), we may need to verify the source of funds to prevent financial crime. A risk assessment will be conducted based on the nature of your case and jurisdiction. 
Step 4: Engagement Agreement & Payment
Once the AML checks are completed, we will issue a client care letter outlining our terms of service. You will need to sign the agreement before we proceed. Payment terms will be clearly stated, and in all cases, an initial retainer will be required.
Step 5: Case Progression
After onboarding, we will begin working on your case and keep you updated at every stage.
